Windows 2000 is a rock solid OS and is very lightweight compared to its brothers. However, a few patches are required to modernize the OS. Windows 2000 cannot recognize dual-cores without a patch, so just apply this registry file and enjoy the full speed of your CPU.
Instructions:
1) Unzip file
2) Open registry file and apply to Windows 2000 registry
3) Reboot and enjoy!
Notes:
**Be sure to apply this patch if you install Update Rollup for Windows 2000! The Rollup appears to cause an issue with dual-cores, so this patch becomes essential.
