DOSfix for Windows ME!

Windows ME is secretly packed with new features, API, and updates that went unused because of its infamy. Newer files, bundled with updates, native universal USB support which 98SE lacked, and DOS 8.0, the final version of DOS updated by Microsoft! Vanilla KernelEx 4.5.2 on Windows ME can run flash player one version newer than Windows 98SE! Due to Windows ME's newer release date, it consequently supports modern hardware much easier than Windows 98SE at times! I personally experienced this while finding 9x-compatible drivers for my Dell Latitude D600, Windows ME ended up being the better of the two!

So what makes DOS 8.0 superior to MS-DOS 7.1? Simply because it's newer! There have been reports MS-DOS 8.0 can run on hardware which MS-DOS 7.1 and prior would freeze up on! Unfortunately, Microsoft removed the ability to print from MS-DOS 8.0. But on the bright side, you can enjoy DOS programs once again on Windows ME! Also, you can install the KernelEx updates because DOS is no longer disabled!

Thank you so much, OCAU (Overclockers Australia)!
