Steam for Windows XP/Vista

For now, Steam is unofficially available on Windows XP/Vista with a few modifications of an older version. Valve annoyingly removed Windows XP/Vista support just like with Windows 98/ME. They didn't even leave us a legacy client! That is highly disappointing considering many games thrive on Windows XP and crash on anything later!

Features:
-Enjoy Steam video games once more!
-Chat with friends
-Enjoy an endless community
-Connect online!
-...And more!

Requirements:
Windows XP SP3 or later

Instructions:
1) Simply install and login
2) The client may not connect successfully the first time, attempt until logged in.
3) Replace the config.vdf in Steam's "config" folder with the once provided
4) Enjoy!

Notes:
-You must replace the config.vdf file after logging in, or else Steam cannot download games!
-Due to this client's indefinite time of working, I advise downloading games and switching to offline mode!

Components:
steam.zip

Replacing the file is crucial to downloading games.

Plague Inc is actually Windows 8 or later! So, the game is glitchy in XP!!
